The Alcatel 1356 Network Toolkit (NT) is a suite of optical network engineering tools (Analyzer & Optimizer, Protector, Metrospan Designer), which allows for a detailed analysis of network usage, an efficient and effective design of network extension and evolution, and an optimal exploitation of installed network resources. It runs on well-known PC platforms.
