Provides a DTE to DCE interface. Allows an external device to provide automatic back-up of failed T1/FT1 circuit. Allows data from multiple ports to be routed over back-up circuit. Can only be installed in slot 2 in TSU 600/600e. (HOT SWAPPABLE)
